Work
How I Work.
-
Discovery.
It all starts by creating a clear definition of goals or problems to be solved by facilitating discussions with stakeholders from all levels - frontline staff to senior leadership.
-
Research.
By using a mixture of qualitative, quantitative and observational methodology, I seek to understand what we already know and what we need to know. And most importantly, who we need to hear it from.
-
Collaboration.
I have initiative, but I am no lone wolf. It takes a team to make a great product and I rely on the unique perspective and expertise of those around me. I am comfortable discussing the technical side as well as explaining the technical to non-technical influencers.
-
Documentation.
From product vision and roadmaps to scope of work, a clear and detailed plan with roles and responsibilities will keep the team on track and within budget. For the sustainability of a product, it is crucial to create manuals and procedures documenting key decision-making points and the research that backs it up. And yes, managing contracts, RFPs and SOW.
-
Usability.
Perhaps, the most central to my core; making the product usable.
-
Measuring.
The product is here and now it’s time to measure how we’re meeting the goals.
